this girl loves her dirt
Taylor has always loved to platy in the dirt. In fact, she likes to play in anything where she can get dirty. This time however was the first time I let her play in actual mud.
Taylor has autism and is very sensitive to various textures. She likes to feel everything with her hands and feet. I wacthed her play with this mud, almost fascinated with how she marveled over this new feeling.
Her excitement from her new experience radiated through her actions and facial expressions, for even though she is almost 4 years old, she's never said a word. That's ok, though. A child like Taylor doesn't need words to express herself. :) |
